how do I add free test field to an Invoice?

I want to add a Text field where I can edit and comment on an invoice I send to customers. It supposes to be a free text field that I can add to every invoice I want to add comments.


For instance, add a comment like:

"Based on a quote number XXX signed on April 4th, 2023."

How do I do that?
