How do I make external Id field available on case form?
Hello,
I need to use the external id field on cases. However, that field isn't showing available when I go in to customize the form. That said, I wrote a client script to set the external id field using another custom field with a fieldChanged function. I'm logging the field values in the script and it appears to be working, however, when I click Save on the case. Then go back and check, the external id value wasn't actually saved. It's just returning a '' value. Any idea on how to make the external id field available on the case form?
