outsourced manufacturing with inbound shipment

Greetings,

I have outsource PO, which if I put on Inbound Shipment, I cannot receive those item, is there a known limitation that restricts outsource PO to be not used on Inbound shipment?

The scenario is I create a PO and receive the PO, it works fine, but when I create the outsourced PO and put that PO on the inbound shipment, that line disappears from the item receipt.
