Why is the "Reverse Sign" option for a statistical account in Report Builder not working?

Hi All!

I added a statistical account to the budget to actual report.

I understand that the statistical account balance is negative by default, and to flip it I need to check the "Reverse sign" box under Format in the Report Builder.

I do have it checked but the balance is still negative.

Any ideas on how to resolve this? TIA!
