Accounting for UK Postponed Import VAT for Quarterly VAT Submission

Hi, can anyone any experience of accounting for UK Postponed Import VAT ready for their quarterly VAT submission?

I know the value to report from my monthly statements from HMRC and it basically needs to be an entry against Input and Output VAT but not sure how to post this in terms of entry type.

Thought the Adjustment option on the VAT return might do it but it didn't seem to work as I thought so looking for some advice from anyone that has done this already.
