Approval Routing for Journal Entry
Hi Team,
I have this case where the client would like to enable the approval routing feature for journal entries from the accounting preference. However, NetSuite is not allowing them due to this error:
"The Require Approvals on Journal Entries preference is enabled. You must approve all existing journal entries before you can enable the Journal Entries approval routing accounting preference."
So, I have created a transaction saved searched and pulled out all journal entry transactions along with their status. There were zero voided/rejected journals and zero pending approvals. However, there are thousands of journal transactions that were posted 12 years ago, and they were all locked for editing. Their status is unknown as well as the system notes data were blank. The GL Impact of these journals are set to "Yes" meaning they are all posted. I am wondering if these journals were actually causing the error. Is there any way we can determine the status of these
