Is it possible to hide the value of inventory from users?
For our company, the value of some of the equipment we use is worth months of wages for most of our employees and so we're cautious about theft.
Is it possible to hide the value of the items from certain users or roles? The only users/employees we would need this for are subsidiary warehouse managers whose primary duties involve:
Receiving Orders
Fulfilling Transfer and Intercompany Transfer Orders
Performing Inventory and Cycle Counts
They also need access to the item records so I'd need to hide quite a few fields in there too.
If I go through those and remove view of any value related to the items, does that sound doable?
