Cannot change the close date? - request an Enhancement

I am not sure how many know this but you cannot change the Actual Close date on opportunities. There is an enhancement request 79653 but only has 25 requests. 


This means if your sales reps close something after your quarter that transaction will always show up in the wrong quarter. I have been after NS to change this but it did not make the current release. Please go in and request this as it is vital that you be able to change this so that your numbers match up. It should be a System Admin function. 


When I talked to NS they stated they could do it but the request count was low. Also they stated that most customers did not realize this until it was too late.
