Visual Studio Code File Upload

Since support for Eclipse is going away I am trying to setup VS Code. Import works fine but when I try to upload a file it fails. It says it is restricted. The folder is a subfolder of the Suitescripts folder. Are we not able to upload to subfolders? We can import from them
