Cursor focus on pageInit

in Ask A Guru 3 comments

I'm trying to focus the cursor on a random field after the page loads on the quote. I tried using a .focus() on pageInit in a client script as well as uservent beforeLoad dom injection and neither works. I can actually see the focus go to the field but then being overriden by a focus going to the line items. Why are the line items first (last) focus? Can we get field focus somewhere else?
