I am looking for advice on the best way to handle new item creation. We are a medium sized business, too small to employ a full time item master, but too large to not have an approval process.

An example of what has occurred, Supply Chain create an item and assign the incorrect Income account and it is only being picked up once the item has transactions associated. Which is a massive headache to resolve.

At the moment we have emails being sent to Compliance as soon as the item is created however if they do not check the item straight away there is room for orders to be placed.
