How to Hide/Show a different fields depending on a condition in Advanced HTML Templates?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:40PM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hello,

We currently use two different quote forms based on the business type. The business types are below:

Appliance = record.cseg_appf_business.id == '1'

Installation = record.cseg_appf_business.id == '2'

The appliance quote form has a "project name" field (field id = title)

The install quote form has a "PO" field (field id = otherrefnum)

Attached is the code for the quote template we currently use.

What we are trying to do is create some if/then condition in the code so if the business id = 1, print the project name field on the quote pdf. if the business id = 2, print the PD field on the quote pdf.

Howdy, Stranger!
