Inventory Count - Set Default Status

We have created an inventory count, but have not inserted any quantities yet. As below.

What I want to achieve, is when the quantity is entered, then click on the count detail icon, I want the status to default to Accepted.

If we have multiple serial numbers, we have to change the status for each one.

Also for non serialised items,

I was hoping I could use the fieldchanged client script and when the quantity is entered, then created the count derail record automatically.
