How NetSuite and Satori BI Reporting works?

Hello,

Im hoping to get some feedback from others who have or are currently working with Satori BI Tool.

We decided to work with Satori BI to help us generate more flexible and efficient financial reports. We are scheduled to go live in a few weeks. They recently requested we complete an excel budget template to import into Satori. Our initial understanding is that Satori can speak directly to NetSuite and grab any data necessary, so we were a bit confused why they asked us to provide "external" data to upload.

We asked Satori why they need the budget template and they state that "
