case when with TO_CHAR combination saved search formula

I've set in a transaction saved search with a few group columns


my last column is a formula (text) with the following:

CASE WHEN {vendorline.internalid} in (20637,21564) THEN TO_CHAR({vendorline.internalid}) ELSE END

I even tried to put parens on the "TO_CHAR" like this:

CASE WHEN {vendorline.internalid} in (20637,21564) THEN (TO_CHAR({vendorline.internalid})) ELSE END


I'm getting an invalid expression.

what am I missing?
