Is it possible to delete a BOM revision?

HI

I am trying to delete a BOM revision. The BOM itself has been unlinked from the assembly item:

However, when I try to delete a revision, I get the following error:

All the components on the revision have been deleted. Why I am getting this error since the revision shouldn't be linked to any transactions?
