Why are 'other charges' not included in outsourced assembly build?
Hi
I have a bill of materials for an outsourced manufactured assembly product comprising of:
- carton (cost category: raw material)
- bottle (cost category: raw material)
- outsourced manufacturing charge (cost category: outsourced fee)
- packing fee (cost category; other charge)
The carton and bottle are both inventory items while the outsourced manufacturing charge and packing fee are both 'Other charge for Purchase' item types.
When creating a work order, only the cost of the carton, bottle and outsourced manufacturing charge appear on the completed assembly build's GL impact.
Why would packing fees be excluded?
They appear on the components for the assembly build
