Poor NetSuite2 performance on customer lastname search
I am doing a SuiteTalk/SuiteQL/NetSuite2.com query as follows:
select entityid from customer where lastname = 'Johnson' and firstname = 'Harry'
This query typically takes 15 secs yet if I do the same query within the NetSuite UI using Search it comes back instantly. That implies there is an index on customer for lastname but my query is obviously not using it.
How can I get better performance searching customer on lastname?
P.S. If I query with a where filter on customer.companyname or customer.entityid the response is sub-sec.
