Can't apply custom transaction body field to other forms.

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:42PM in Ask A Guru 5 comments

Hi there,

I've made a custom field for a Bill form and it's working correctly. I did this by going to the Bill form, clicking customize, new field and saving it.

Now I want to apply this field to SOs, POs and INVs, I do this by going back to the Transaction Body Field record and selecting applies to Purchase and Sale. I click Save & Apply to forms and take note that it should be being applied to all the forms I need it to and more.

When I go into the customization page for either an SO, PO or INV the custom field is no where to be found. Anyone have a reason why this might be or run into similar errors? Perhaps I just have the method entirely wrong but I could swear this is how it's supposed to be done...
