Trail Balance, Cumulative Translation Adjustment disappears when region is added

Hello Gurus!

I have two identical custom trial balance reports. The second was created from the first with the only change be the addition of a column for region. However, this addition has stripped the 'Cumulative Translation Adjustment' row from the bottom which shows the final trial balance as zero. Why might this be?

The 'Cumulative Translation Adjustment-Elimination' row is on the top of both reports.
