New Customer Status - But It is not Auto updating to Active once an order is placed
Hello!
We would like to create a new status of CUSTOMER-At Risk. The intent is to use this status for customers who have not purchased from us in X amount of time. Lets say, more than 1 year. My Sales Team is then planning to create some Opportunities for these customers and make some outbound calls. I have the new status created in our Sandbox instance. I know I can use an import to update those customers to the new status.
But what I am finding is that when I create an order on a customer that I have changed the status from CUSTOMER-Active Customer to CUSTOMER-At Risk, the status is not updating back to CUSTOMER-Active once the order is placed. I was hoping it would without scripting or a new workflow.
