Performance Review Saved Search - Inactive Employees

Hello - I'm trying to create a Saved Search for Performance Reviews and exclude Inactive Employees. There does not appear to be a join to the Employee data fields. There is a field in the list called 'Inactive', but it looks like it is for Performance Review status versus Employee status. Am I just missing it, hopefully? Thank you.
