I wanted to find out how to restrict our customer drop down list on transactions (i.e. Sales orders) to show only customers for a certain category. We have Ecommerce and Wholesale customers therefore when typing in the customer name a very long list appears in the drop down. I would like to restrict this list to show only wholesale customers for specific roles. I know there is a scripted solution but I am not too familiar with scripts, unless if this can be done by workflow also.
