How can I run a trial balance in US Dollar for subsidiaries with British Pound base currency?

My customer is trying to run a trial balance in US Dollar for their subsidiaries in UK (base currency British Pound). I found and workaround on suite answers: https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/64899/loc/en_US

They have multibook and I am not 100% sure their numbers are matching this way. Could you please tell me if you know any other workaround for it? How can I double check if these numbers are the correct ones?
