Why can I not set Employee field isInactive to 'T'
Here is my code:

type: record.Type.EMPLOYEE,
id: recordObj.Id
});
rec.setValue({
fieldId: isInactive,
value: 'T'
})
rec.save();
The value of isInactive is not updated.
