AP Invoice realised exchange gain loss 1 cent rounding difference
Hi All
Please refer to my attached word document for evidence and calculations.
When One Outgoing Payment applied against two AP invoices, the realised exchange gain loss calculated from lump sum payment amount against two Invoices could be different from the sum of realised exchange gain loss calculated from individual AP Invoice.
This results an unnecessary realised exchange gain loss Revaluation Journal local currency $0.01 created and posted to Vendor Invoice in AP Aging on Original Invoice Date to Vendor Invoice in AP Aging and Payable Control account upon subsequent payment to tally realised exchange gain loss difference posted against Vendor Invoice in AP Aging and Payable Control on subsequent Payment Date in General Ledger.
Thanks for your guidance.
