Can a Sales Order be linked to a Project in Related Records during project creation via script?

Hello Everyone,

I have a scenario wherein I'm generating a project from a Project Template using SuiteScript, based on a custom field present on the Sales Order line item. I'm currently locating the project template on the line and creating a project record accordingly. All the configurations present on the project template are being transferred to the project. However, I'm wondering if there's a method to set the Sales Order to the related record of the project. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
