Pack Order Screen Creating Item Fulfilments
I'm encountering an unusual situation that began on 15/11/2023 regarding pick tasks and item fulfillment in NetSuite's WMS (Warehouse Management System). Typically, when using pick tasks, an item fulfillment is only created if all pack tasks are marked as "Done." If a pick task fails for a specific order (e.g., Order ABC), then an item fulfillment won't be generated.
Additionally, in normal circumstances, attempting to pack a carton using the Pack Orders screen in the NetSuite UI would result in an error if the carton isn't associated with an item fulfillment in the "Picked" status.
However, I've noticed that despite pick tasks failing to generate an item fulfillment, when packed via the Pack Orders screen, NetSuite automatically generates an item fulfillment. This leaves the pick tasks as "In Progress" and the wave open.
