Default Currency Incorrect

Seemingly, after our upgrade to 2024.1, the default currency in the UI when creating a Journal Entry was wrong. It was set to British Pound. Our default currency was USA but it selected British Pound. Once we deactivated British Pound it then switched to Canadian Dollar. We had to deactivate that and the Euro currency to get it to use USA which was set as our Base Currency. So, we solved the problem but curious if anyone else experienced that.
