Saved Search - Combine Totals of Certain Results Together

I am creating a Saved Search to see specific items that have been fulfilled during each period or month. I want to see all of our smaller units (5 different assembly numbers) grouped together with a total fulfilled and I want to see all of our larger units (many different assembly numbers) grouped together with the total fulfilled.

A few questions:

  1. Is it possible to do what I described above and if so, how?
  2. While I can use the month for the period, is there a way to make more specific periods such as 1st of the month to 15th of the month and 16th of the month to the end of the month?
