remove a custom button from a workorder form

On the workorder I created 2 custom buttons

The idea is for the operator to click on the Start production button, to register date and time the production started and to click on the Production finished button, to register date and time the production is finished. To prevent hitting the Start production button twice I would like it to dissapear from the form once the production button is clicked.

Is this possible?, and if so can you please show me how to set this up.
