Sourcing items in a transaction Line

Hi Team,

My customer wants to label their items and use that label as a filter on the transaction line level of an invoice. So for example if the items are tagged as Group 1 in the item master, and when I choose group 1 on the line level of a transaction, only those specific items will show up on the item drop down field. Is that possible?
