Project Tasks availability in Webservices

Hi There

When creating a purchase order via SOAP or REST, is it possible to populate the project tasks field at the line level?

Based on another thread (linked below), my understanding is that project tasks field is not accessible via CSV uploads.

Is there the same limitation for webservices?
