Nav buttons need to be pressed Twice

Do other people have this issue? It's so frustrating to me.

Having to go Lists → Accounting → Items → New or whatever, the bar closes and nothing happens. Inconsistently but more often than not I end up having to navigate twice to actually move pages, this happens with all of the various links on the nav bar.
