How to block customer

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone figured out a way to block a customer from being invoiced or selected on sales orders? We currently have a workflow that brings up an error message and sometimes they still go through with it. 😡

Making the customer inactive won't work for us, as this is a customer who still has an AR balance.

Please let me know if anyone has found a solution to this.
