How to create a one-sided journal entry to correct A/R Aging and A/R account inconsistent balance?

We are unable to create a one-sided journal entry to resolve A/R Aging and A/R account balance amount discrepancy. The amount difference in this case is small but we need to know how to resolve in this one and future discrepancies.

All documentation mentions changing Report by Period but we have never had amount difference prior to now.
