Can't connect to NetSuite from Webstorm

I'm having an issue where I am getting this error when trying to use Account Management to connect to our account through WebStorm:

PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Has anyone encountered this before? The general consensus when you Google this error is that the certificate needs to be replaced. But I have used WebStorm with the NetSuite plugin previously, and I have never had this problem. Is there some setting I'm missing?
