Custom field on entity not available as filter on a transaction saved search

Hi,

I have a custom field on a customer record. The field type is a list/record and the list are all the employees (300 entries). When I create a transaction saved search and tries to add this field as a filter, the Show Filter on Filter Region checkbox is greyed out...

I tried to create a new saved search and add this field as a filter but still can't.

I will add that other custom fields from the same type and with exactly the same settings on the customer record are available as filters on the same transaction search.

Any help on why the field is greyed out would be appreciated.
