Move elements between subtabs?

The new UI has the matrix items with no "matrix tab" in the matrix parent record.  All matrix fields are now under "accounting".  I didn't care for that organization.  So, I wanted to see if I could create a matrix tab and put the matrix related fields into that tab.  I created the tab. I could move all of our matrix options into the matrix tab, but one matrix element (the list of Matrix Child Items) remained in the accounting tab.  How can I move that element over to our new custom tab titled "Matrix"?
