What determines the ability to Down Drill on a Report

Good day,

Currently I am customising the Profit and Loss report. I have added some additional colums such as Current Period and Amount for 'Rolling last 18 periods'. But currently the only column that I can down-drill to is 'Amount YTD', which is the default column that is already added to the seeded Profit and Loss report. The green column is down-drillable, the red columns are not.

How can I set up the report so all amount columns are down-drillable? Is this possible?
