PO Creator on Bill when Bill multiple POs

we have a custom field called PO creator on our PO form. When you create a bill from a PO the PO creator flows to the bill. We are running into issues with the PO creator populating when you bill multiple PO’s. How can we get one PO creator to populate on a bill when you bill multiple PO’s? It just needs to be one of them.
