PDF Printout Error

Hello Team,

We recently encounter this error when printing PDF on our credit memo:
The template cannot be printed due to the following errors: Error on line 170, column 20 in template. Detail... The string "--" is not permitted within comments. Please contact your administrator.

No changes made in the past. I have research and found these SuiteAnswers:
76877 (Got stuck at step 7)
94548 (I've included the codes provided on our advance PDF template replacing "custbody97" but still getting the same error)
