I have a search that shows all items sold each day, and it looks at the sales orders and summarizes a count of sales order transactions for each item that sold that day.

It is double counting items with components. We use kits and assembly items. What's the best way to filter those out? I can't filter out the component items because we also sell those component items by themselves and not part of a kit.
