What's the employee id of 'the system'?

Feel I've asked this before, but can't find the answer.

In a script, if I want to say this record was 'created by' and the created by field uses the employees list, what is the id or what value would I put for the system? I think it was -2 or something, but can't find it.

If anyone knows, would appreciate the correction!
