Hiding the Bank Payment Details Tab on Vendor Form for Certain Roles (Without Using Separate Forms)

We recently installed the Electronic Bank Payments bundle (533070) into our account; however, the Bank Payment Details tab appears on the Vendor form for all roles, which is not preferable. We want this tab to appear only for a handful of roles; however, we don't want to have to make yet another spinoff of the vendor form to accomplish this, because then we get into the issue of maintaining form parity whenever new custom fields are added or a UI change is made in another.

So is there a way to hide that tab without resorting to making another version of the vendor form
