Saved Search Date Issue

I am having an issue with a date calculation in my saved search.

I have ROUND({today}-{trandate}),0)-1

The issue I am running into is that it doesn't seem to be using the date as a whole. Yesterday afternoon and this morning the date difference is 21 days. I need this to correspond with just the date of the transaction and not the time (I assume that is what is throwing it off, but I don't know.)
