Expected Ship Date > Intercompany Sales Order
Question:
Is there a way to set Expected Ship Dates in the lines of an intercompany sales order based on Expected Receipt Dates of the paired intercompany purchase order?
Background:
We are a manufacturing business, Subsidiary 1 orders the BOM components to Subsidiary 2 by creating intercompany purchase orders, then Subsidiary 2 generates intercompany sales orders.
Right now, we are testing MRP, and aim to do separate supply planning per subsidiary. One issue is that when Subsidiary 2 generates the intercompany sales order, the expected ship date defaults to transaction date.
