Transaction Distribution Line > Merge customers and vendors

Hi, we recently installed the SuiteApp Transaction Line Distribution, but when setting up, we realized that for this to work, the representing entities should be the one automatically created by NetSuite and not manually created. The issue that we are facing is we already created the representing entities, thus, if we would let NS automatically generate, it would create duplicate entities.

Question: If we merge the duplicate entities, will the SuiteApp work? Do we need the entity generated by NS be the primary entity? Is there a way for the SuiteApp to work without generating representing entities?
