NetSuite2 Query Building Tips and Tricks

Hi,

I am new to NetSuite. I am looking for tips and tricks to keep it on while building query on Suite2.I am using DBeaver DB tool to run the query and it do have Visual query builder. Sometimes using it gives me correct result and sometimes its not.So being first time query building what are the steps to follow and avoid.
