How to create workflow for item line field in opportunity transaction?

I want to create a discount calculation using a custom field in the line item of an opportunity transaction, but in the workflow, the 'sublist' client field trigger does not appear for this transaction. Is there a way to create a calculation formula without using a workflow? I have also tried creating a script, but the script still doesn't run.
